Little Red Riding Hood must have had very bad eyesight and no sense of smell if she thought that the wolf was her grandmother. It’s not something I think on a lot, but Sofie is quite obsessed with the story, and so here we are talking about it in a blog post.
I often find myself pointing out plot holes in movies, books, and television shows. It’s not that I don’t like these stories, it’s just that plot holes bother me. I overthink things to the point where i’ve often joked that I should be a script fixer. I’m not sure if it’s a real thing, but if it was, I think I’d be good at it. Pouring over scripts and stories, finding the holes and inconsistencies, figuring out what a good, creative, cohesive fix would be.
I don’t know if this is something that would actually change anyone else’s opinion of a film or story. I don’t know if any of these inconsistencies bother anyone but me, but for as long as I’m living, I will be finding plot holes and talking about them incessently.
